short post on boing boing about a new fujifilm camera (didn't know they even made cameras) that looks like an old leica...leica has an almost cult like following...not as bad as apple though...leica shares lens tech with panasonic, which to me, makes leica lose some of its appeal...you can get a panasonic with pretty much the same lens for much less than a leica...maybe there are other differences, but the main reason you get a leica is the lens, and if you can get a panasonic with the same lens for thousands less, then i don't see the point in getting a leica other than you really like the design and/or the brand...the old m3 design still looks cool 50 plus years later...
