amazon is already shipping the pale king
...i thought it was going to come out later this month...might wait until the paperback version...i don't understand why hard covers come out first...i think most readers are already set in their preference for books, so i don't see why releasing hard covers first would help with sales...wouldn't it make more sense to release both versions so that everyone gets the one they want...also, hard covers on amazon are close to the price of paperbacks, so they wouldn't be making much more money from them...they take up too much room on my shelves (although, i do have a few), and they're inconvenient to take with...too heavy to hold and read...take decent care of paperbacks, and they'll last just as long
