i found a better app that does webcam, remote desktop, etc all in one...they have a free version that is still pretty powerful and has lots of features...the really good thing is that it takes care of all the port forwarding and other router configurations that you would have to do manually...it turns everything into a service that you can either access through a client or online as a web app
