cars

another favorites list...cars that i would like to have

practical wagon: m5 touring...not made for the US though...stupid americans and their damn trucks and suvs...need more wagons and hatchbacks

daily driver: volvo c30 polestar...the only problem is that this isn't a production car and you can't technically get one...i figure if you're rich enough, you can get one...i would get a different color though

sedan: this was a tough one, but i picked the porsche panamera turbo s...porsche purists hate it, but the idea of a sedan with the performance of a 911 turbo sounds pretty cool...just looks a little funny

for the track: ferrari 599 gto and porsche gt2rs...jeremy clarkson thought the gto was garbage, but i still think it's cool

utility: i don't like suv's much, but i do like the land rover defender 110...honorable mention goes to the porsche cayenne turbo s...a porsche suv is pure blasphemy, but if you had to have one, wouldn't one that handles like a porsche be a good choice?...all the track reviews are excellent...i'm just not sure of its off road credentials...for a family hauler, it sure is cooler than your average suv

limo: maybach 62 zepplin...car to be driven in...looks ugly but the best if you're a passenger

many inappropriate captions can describe this picture
interior is what matters for this car
race car: honda hsv 10...i hope they make a production version of this

oddity: ferrari ff...i don't know what to make of this, but i would like to drive it...is it really a practical ferrari? a more fundamental question would be, "should a ferrari be practical?"

rarity: ferrari 250 gto...too expensive to drive around

old school: mini cooper and datsun 510...for the track and just messing around with

van: a-team van (1983 gmc g-15)...possibly the best tv car ever...better than kitt

u can rent one from these guys...i think there is a company in the uk that makes replicas too...http://www.theateamvan.com/

zombie apocalypse: ford raptor and the critter gitter...check out the full article here http://jalopnik.com/#!5689550/the-critter-gitter-is-our-new-ultimate-zombie+hunting-vehicle and the original 10 best list http://jalopnik.com/#!360213/the-ten-best-post+apocalyptic-survival-vehicles

there are probably other cars that i want, but i can't think of any others...there are some cars that for some reason, i don't like even though they are supposed to be great cars...a few of these are the nissan gtr, lexus lfa, and pagani zonda...probably fun cars to drive, but i just don't like them much...if i were bill gates/warren buffett rich, i would probably get them just to have them though

  1. for some reason, i don't think the m5 wagon qualifies as "practical." maybe it's the 500-hp, v-10 engine.

btw, you should have some sort of weekly contest for putting captions on your images. that maybach one, for example. i'd like to see what you'd write.

  2. that makes it more practical...i might have to add an adult content warning to the page for those comments
