firefly first aired on Sept. 20, 2002 around the time i moved to korea, so i could not watch it when it premiered... however, serenity came out in 2005 and knew that it was about the short lived show that joss whedon created...i decided to watch it, and after that i immediately got the series...a dozen dvd sets, multiple copies of the movie (regular and collector's edition), many tshirts, and toy figures later, i still think it's the best tv show ever
