some pics from this year's comikaze...the convention was a pretty big upgrade from last year, and the panels had their own rooms...like last year, it was faster if you bought the ticket at the door instead of online...next year, if i go again, i will buy at the door...attendance seemed to be up and maybe an increase in vendors as well...they already scheduled comikaze for next november...

the booth that had the gaming table also had some very nice display shelves and cases that would hold my collectibles nicely...too bad i didn't take any pics of them...
originally, i did not plan on going to comikaze, but i developed an interest in spaceship models and hot wheels cars recently (i should do a post about the genesis of a new collection)...i figured it would be a good place to look for some loot, and i was correct...i got a hot wheels figure of the enterprise d, micro machines millennium falcon, and a hot wheels tumbler from the new batman movies...
for a convention with the word comic in it, comic vendors were lacking...i was hoping to find the bone one volume edition...http://www.amazon.com/Bone-Complete-Cartoon-Epic-Volume/dp/188896314X...i can order it online, but i don't want it to get stolen from my doorstep...i'm pretty sure, i can find it at a brick and mortar store somewhere that sells it for a decent price...finding 3 of the 4 things i wanted is still pretty good, and it was a nice little convention...
