disney announced that they will buy lucasfilm for $4 billion and a movie is planned for 2015...lucas ruined the franchise for a lot of fans with the prequels and the various re-releases, but disney can set this right by basing the next trilogy on the expanded universe...the thrawn trilogy would make the most sense in my opinion...the more interesting part though is that disney also owns marvel, and they have whedon on their marvel movies...whedon is also a fan of star wars and understands the characters...whedon + star wars seems like a no brainer if he's willing to work on it...
I've been wondering about your take on this! At first I didn't know what to think but Disney seems to have done a good job with the other companies it has acquired (Pixar, Marvel). Plus, I'm selfish and since I love the parks, I hope there will be even MORE Star Wars integration at Disneyland. YAY!
