mass effect

the last dlc for mass effect 3 came out, signaling the end of the series, so kotaku is doing a mass effect week as a tribute...i received mass effect 1 as a birthday gift and tried playing it but didn't like it at first and put it away for about a year...then i decided to try playing it again and got hooked...now, it's probably my favorite series...it might be the last game i play unless skyrim releases more dlc since i don't think i'll get either xbox 720 or ps4...mass effect is a pretty good series to end my gaming on though even with the crappy ending for mass effect 3 (the citadel dlc made up for the nonsensical ending for me)...the series has some memorable characters, good story, and decent game play (find cover and shoot gets a bit repetitive)...they have some good articles about mass effect and obviously lots of spoilers if you haven't played any of the games...
