borders
borders is closing down the costa mesa store...unlike the others i checked out, this one still has some decent books left...i thought they closed at 10pm, so i went a little before 9, but it turned out that they closed at 9...only had about 10 minutes to look around, but found one book i wanted...woman in the dunes by kobo abe...it was made into a movie, which i recommend...very good...i'll have to go back tomorrow to check out the rest...fiction was 75% off

Ooohhhh!!! If you see this before you go, would you mind checking to see if they have any books by Michael Connelly (legal thrillers/suspense)? I'm reading Lincoln Lawyer right now on my Kindle because it was on sale and I want to check out his other books (not on sale or I would just download them). But I totally understand if it's too hard to look for anything specific -- it gets messy when stores have those closeout sales. Thanks! :)
ReplyDeletesorry...i didn't see the comment...for some reason, the email notifications for comments don't seem to be sent when a comment is submitted...instead it seems to send, when i log into my account...the bookstore was still well organized and most of the stuff was in alphabetical order...i remember seeing lincoln lawyer there, so there is a good chance his other books are there too...i was thinking of going back one more time, so i will check tomorrow
